What does the Maytag warranty cover, and how long does it last?

The dryer carries a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering Factory Specified Parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship when the appliance is operated and maintained according to instructions. The warranty does not cover service calls for installation correction, consumable parts such as light bulbs, damage from accident or misuse, or repairs needed because of unauthorized modifications.
