Why is my dryer taking too long to dry clothes?

Check if the lint screen is clogged (should be cleaned before each load), verify the exhaust vent or outside hood is not clogged with lint by holding your hand under the exhaust hood to feel airflow, ensure the exhaust vent is not too long or has too many turns, and confirm the vent diameter is the correct 4-inch size. Long venting will increase drying times. (Page 20)
