How do I start a wash cycle on the Maytag W10401491A Dishwasher?

Run hot water at the sink nearest your dishwasher until the water is hot, then turn it off. Push the door firmly closed, select your desired wash cycle and options, and press START/RESUME. For fully integrated models with controls on top, press START/RESUME once and close the door within 3 seconds or the cycle will not begin. (Page 4)
