Place the router near the center of your home, within line of sight of your WiFi devices, and in an elevated location to minimize walls and ceilings between the router and other devices. Keep the router away from electrical devices such as microwaves, ceiling fans, cordless phones, and computers, as well as large metal or glass surfaces. The thickness and number of walls the WiFi signal passes through will affect range. (Page 13)
