How do I set up Pioneer Smart Sync to connect automatically when my phone is plugged in?

Press the M.C. dial to display the main menu, select [SYSTEM], then select [APP CONTROL] and choose [WIRED] for USB or [BLUETOOTH] for a Bluetooth connection. Next, select [AUTO APP CONN] and set it to [ON]; Pioneer Smart Sync will then launch automatically on your iPhone or Android device when it is connected to the unit. (Page 26)
