How do I dispense hot water safely, and is there an automatic shutoff?

To dispense hot water, press the hot water button until it turns red, then press the dispense button to release a predetermined amount of hot water. You can press any button during dispensing to stop immediately. To avoid over-dispensing, the machine will automatically stop if more than 1.5L of water has been dispensed continuously or if it has been dispensing for more than 2 minutes. (Pages 7, 8)
