How do I clean the Magic Filter on the washing machine?

Push and pull the top of the Magic Filter downward at the same time, then open the cover as shown in the illustration. Clean the Magic Filter, then close the cover and insert the bottom of the filter into the basket first, pushing until you hear a click. Clean the filter mesh regularly to keep the machine running efficiently. (Page 24)
