Why is my ice maker not making ice after installation?

After a new ice maker has been installed, you must wait at least 12 hours before the refrigerator begins making ice. Additionally, the refrigerator should operate for at least 24 hours to ensure optimal performance, and you should discard the first several batches of ice cubes. Also check that the ice maker is not turned off, Control Lock is not activated, and the freezer temperature is set below -18°C. (Pages 35, 45)
