How do I change the water filter and reset the filter indicator?

Turn the water filter about 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and pull it from the filter case, then insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks. After installing the new filter, touch and hold the 'Ice Type/Water' button for 3 seconds to reset the water filter life indicator, and the color will change from red to off. The filter indicator lights up after approximately 300 gallons of use, or about 6 months. (Page 17)
