Why is water not draining from my washing machine?

Be sure to lay the drain hose down properly and check that the Drain Selector is set to drain. If water is draining out immediately instead, the hose may be clogged with scrap. Hang up the drain hose over the drain hose hook, half fill the washtub with water, and try to drain it again to remove scrap by water drain pressure.
