How should I clean the exterior and interior of my washer?

Turn off water taps after finishing washing and leave the door open to allow the inside to dry. For the exterior, use a soft cloth to wipe detergent, bleach, or spills as they occur; clean the control panel with a soft, damp cloth without abrasive powders, and clean the cabinet with soap and water. For the interior, periodically clean to remove dirt, soil, odor, mold, and mildew—hard water deposits labeled 'Washer safe' can be removed if needed.
