Why won't the door open on my washer?

Press or tap Start/Pause to stop the washer and wait a few moments for the door lock mechanism to disengage. Make sure all water in the drum is drained—if water remains, the door will not open and you may need to drain it manually. The door lock light must be off before the door will open. If the washer was paused after water was supplied, wait at least one minute; if draining was followed by an information code, wait 3 minutes after the washer stops.
