How do I connect my washing machine to the SmartThings app?
Download and open the SmartThings app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, then turn on the washing machine and tap and hold the Smart Control button to enter AP mode. The machine will connect to your smartphone, and you then tap Smart Control to authenticate. Once authentication is complete, your washing machine is successfully connected and you can control it remotely. (Page 44)
