If the washing machine needs to be placed on its back for servicing, place support(s) on the floor and lay it down carefully so its side is on the floor. Do not lay it down on its front side. (Page 4)

After removing the Frame Front, locate the pump and remove any remaining water through the drainage hose, placing a bowl underneath to catch overflow. Remove the 2 screws holding the drain pump, separate the hoses and clampers, remove the 8 screws holding the cover bottom and frame plate, then disconnect the wiring from both the drain pump and bubble pump before fully extracting the pump. Remove the 6 screws on the Cover Back using a Phillips screwdriver and separate the cover to access the heater. Disconnect the 4 connection housings and holder, ensuring wire harnesses are not caught on other parts, then disassemble the heater and its holding nut using a 10mm box driver. The 5C code indicates that water is not draining properly. Check that the drain hose is not frozen or clogged, is positioned correctly, and is straightened all the way to the drain system, and clean the debris filter as it may be clogged. If the information code remains, contact a customer service centre. (Page 55)

To set Child Lock, hold down Temp. and Spin simultaneously for 3 seconds. To release Child Lock, hold down the same two buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds again. In the Child Lock state, all buttons except Power are locked, and your setting will be kept even after restarting the machine. (Page 41)

Locate the shipping bolts on the rear side of the washing machine and use the supplied spanner to loosen them by turning counterclockwise. After removing the bolts, insert the provided bolt caps into the holes to cover them. Download and open the SmartThings app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, then turn on the washing machine and tap and hold the Smart Control button to enter AP mode. It is advisable to clean the debris filter every 2 months to prevent clogging, as a clogged debris filter may reduce the bubble effect. Turn off and unplug the machine, drain remaining water via the emergency drain procedure, open the filter cover, turn the debris filter knob to the left, then clean the filter using soft brushes ensuring the drain pump propeller is unclogged. Reinsert the filter and turn the knob to the right, making sure it is closed properly to avoid leaks. (Page 50)

The proper water pressure for this washing machine is between 50 kPa and 800 kPa. Water pressure less than 50 kPa may cause the water valve not to close completely or may cause the drum to take longer to fill, which could cause the washing machine to turn off. Water taps must also be within 120 cm from the rear of the washing machine so that the provided inlet hoses can reach. (Page 16)

To run Calibration, power off then power on the washing machine, then hold down Temp. and Delay End simultaneously for 3 seconds until the 'Cb' message appears. Press Start/Pause to begin the cycle, and the drum will rotate for about 3 minutes. When complete, '0' appears on the display and the machine turns off automatically. Error code 5C means water is not draining from the washing machine. Check that the drain hose is not frozen or clogged and that it is positioned correctly depending on the connection type. You should also clean the debris filter as it may be clogged. If the debris filter is clogged, this code will appear on the screen. (Pages 50, 57)

The Drum Clean cycle should be performed once every 40 washes with no detergent or bleach applied, and the drum must be empty. To run it, press Power to turn on the machine, turn the Cycle Selector to Drum Clean, then press and hold Start/Pause. The water temperature is set to 70°C and cannot be changed. (Pages 39, 47)

To set the Child Lock function, hold down Temp. and Spin simultaneously for 3 seconds. To release Child Lock, hold down Temp. and Spin simultaneously for 3 seconds again. When Child Lock is active, all buttons are locked except for Power, and your setting will be kept even after restarting the machine. (Page 43)

Locate the shipping bolts on the rear side of the washing machine and use the supplied spanner to loosen all bolts by turning them counterclockwise. After removing the bolts, insert the provided bolt caps into the holes to cover them. You must keep the shipping bolts in a safe place for future use, as they are needed if you move the machine to another location. (Pages 18-19)

Power off and unplug the washing machine, then open the filter cover by either gently pressing the top area or pushing down the latch depending on your model type. Place an empty container nearby, stretch the emergency drain tube to the container, open the tube cap, and let the water flow out. When done, close the tube cap, reinsert the tube, and close the filter cover. (Page 48)

Press Start/Pause to stop the washing machine and wait, as the door will not open until 3 minutes after the machine has stopped or the power is turned off. Make sure all the water in the drum has drained, as the door may not open if water remains. Check that the door lock light is off, which indicates the machine has drained and the door can be opened.
