Where should I secure a child restraint in my vehicle?

Accident statistics show that children are safer if they are restrained in the rear rather than the front seat. We recommend that children be secured in a rear seat, including infants in rear-facing child restraints, children in forward-facing child seats, older children in booster seats, and children large enough to use safety belts. A label on the sun visor states 'Never put a rear-facing child seat in the front.'
