How do I connect a Home Theatre System (HTS) to my Sony TV?

Use an HDMI cable to connect the Home Theatre System to HDMI IN 1 (ARC) on the TV, which is the only port that supports the Audio Return Channel (ARC) signal. With an HDMI ARC connection, you do not need a separate audio cable, as both audio and video signals are combined.
