How do I find metal studs with my Stanley Fatmax Stud Sensor?
To find metal studs, position the sensor flat on wall, press and hold button until LEDs turn off momentarily. Slowly move left/right while watching/marking indicators until center LED lights then stop moving/holding for precise stud detection. (Page 14)
