Where is the best place to position my extender for optimal performance?

Plug the extender into an electrical outlet between your host router and the Wi-Fi dead zone, within range of your existing host network. Make sure the extender is positioned where 3 or more signal strength LEDs are lit; if fewer are lit, move it closer to the router. Also keep the extender away from Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, microwave ovens, and baby monitors to minimize signal interference.
