Why is my dryer taking too long to dry clothes?
The most common causes of long drying times include a clogged lint screen, a blocked or kinked exhaust vent, an oversized load, or incorrect vent sizing. Check that the exhaust vent is 4" (102 mm) diameter, not too long, and free of lint — run the dryer for 5-10 minutes and hold your hand under the outside exhaust hood to confirm air movement. Also ensure the room temperature is above 45°F (7°C) and that only one fabric softener sheet is being used. (Page 11)
