How often should lint be removed from inside the dryer?
It is recommended that lint be removed every 2 to 3 years, or more often depending on dryer usage. Lint can gather inside the dryer and be a fuel for fire. This cleaning should be done by a qualified person. For detailed instructions on removing accumulated lint, see pages 13-14 for both electric and gas dryers.
