How do I change the light bulb in my Whirlpool upright freezer?

Unplug the freezer or disconnect power, then remove the light shield by squeezing the lens from the sides, pushing back, and pulling down. Replace the bulb with a 40-watt maximum appliance bulb or an LED bulb rated for wet/damp locations, noting that freezer compartments are considered wet/damp environments so you should read all instructions on LED packaging carefully.
