How do I turn the cooling on or off on my Whirlpool freezer?
To turn cooling off, press and hold TEMP SETTING for 3 seconds; none of the control panel lights will be illuminated when cooling is off, though the main freezer light bulb will still operate. To turn cooling back on, press and hold TEMP SETTING again for 3 seconds, and the control panel lights will illuminate. (Page 7)
