How much ice should my ice maker produce, and when will it start making ice?

Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice, and discard the first three batches produced. The ice maker should produce approximately 8 to 12 batches of ice in a 24-hour period under normal operation. On some models, activating the ICE PLUS switch can increase production to 16 to 20 batches per 24 hours. Allow 3 days to completely fill the ice container. (Page 9)
