What does the Whirlpool warranty cover and for how long?

Whirlpool provides a One Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase, covering FSP replacement parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship when the appliance is operated and maintained according to instructions. The warranty does not cover service calls for installation correction, replacement of light bulbs or filters, damage from accident or misuse, or any food loss due to refrigerator or freezer failure.
