What electrical outlet does the Whirlpool washer require?
The washer must be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not remove the ground prong, use an adapter, or use an extension cord, as failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock. (Pages 3, 5, 6)
