How do I replace the water filter and how often should it be done?

Replace the disposable water filter at least every 6 months, or sooner if water flow decreases noticeably. To replace it, open the filter compartment door on the right-hand side of the refrigerator ceiling, turn the old filter counterclockwise and pull it out, then install the new filter by aligning the arrow with the cutout notch and turning clockwise until locked. After replacing, flush the water system to avoid dripping or decreased flow from the dispenser. (Page 16)
