What should I do before putting food in my newly installed refrigerator?

Wait 24 hours before putting food into the refrigerator to allow it to cool completely, as adding food too soon may cause it to spoil. After connecting the water supply, flush the water system and allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice, discarding the first three batches produced. Allow 3 days for the ice storage bin to fill completely. (Page 19, 22)
