WI-FI ANYCAST DONGLE USER MANUAL

This Anycast dongle allows you to stream content from your smartphone, tablet or PC to your TV. It features a screen mirroring function as well as DLNA and Airplay® for an almost universal ability to stream media from a compatible device. Through the casting functionality, play YouTube, videos, pictures and other streaming services straight onto your TV.

MIRACAST: Mirrors the display of your device on your TV or projector.

DLNA: Streams pictures, videos and music from your device to your TV or projector.

  • 1) Connect the dongle to power by using either a power adaptor (with a Micro USB plug) or the included USB power adaptor.
  • 2) Plug the dongle into the HDMI port of your TV or projector.
  • 3) Switch your TV or projector’s input source to HDMI. The dongle’s main menu should appear on the screen.
  • 4) Once you have paired the dongle to your device, we recommend connecting the dongle to your wireless router for internet access.

    • IOS DEVICES Device Compatibility: iPhone 4 onwards iPad 2 onwards iPod touch 4th generation onwards

    System Requirements: iOS 7 and above Minimum of 40MB memory required Resolution iPhone: 480*320~1136*640 iPad: 1024*768~2048*1536

    IOS DEVICE PAIRING:

  • 1) Navigate to your device’s Bluetooth menu & look for the dongle’s SSID (e.g. AnyCast-xx).
  • 2) Select the SSID to pair with your device. If you cannot see the dongle, try pressing the button on the back of the dongle to reset.

  • 3) If prompted for a password, enter 12345678.
  • 4) Once your device is paired, the dongle menu should display on the device’s screen as follows:

  • - Touch icon to connect dongle to Wi-Fi AP
  • - Touch icon to switch between Miracast & DLNA
  • - Touch icon to show media control panel
  • - settings

  • 5) To activate AirPlay, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open your device’s Control Center, and tap AirPlay.
  • 6) Your device’s screen should now appear on your TV or projector.

    System Requirements: Android 4.2 model with 1GB RAM Minimum of 40MB memory required Resolution WVGA~1080p

    ANDROID DEVICE PAIRING:

  • 1) Navigate to your device’s Bluetooth menu and look for the dongle’s SSID (e.g. AnyCastxxxxxx).
  • 2) Select the SSID in order to pair with your device. If you cannot see the dongle, try pressing the button on the back of the dongle to reset.
  • 3) If prompted for a password, enter 12345678.

  • 4) Once your device is paired, the dongle menu should display on the device’s screen as follows:

  • - Connect dongle to Wi-Fi AP

  • 5) Your device’s screen should now appear on your TV or projector.

    • CONNECTING THE DONGLE TO YOUR WI-FI ROUTER:

  • 1) Open your device’s internet browser and visit: “http://192.168.49.1” or use your device to scan the QR code below.

  • 2) Click on the signal icon (which should link the dongle to your Wi-Fi router). You should only have to follow this process once.
