How do I adjust skid shoes on my snow thrower?

First place your unit on a hard, flat surface. Insert two appropriate thickness spacers (3 mm for smooth surfaces or 22 mm for rough) under each scraper blade end to lift the unit accordingly. Adjust both left and right side shoes evenly by loosening the hardware and lowering or raising until they contact the surface properly. Then retighten (Page 17).
