How do I perform the initial start-up of the appliance?

Switch on the appliance at the main switch, close the doors, wait 3 minutes, then reopen them. Select a language, follow the on-screen instructions for checking the water connection, confirm the summary, and touch 'Finish' to complete initialization — the appliance will restart. You will then be prompted to set up Home Connect®, select temperature units, time format, and other preferences before pressing 'Finish' to finalize. (Page 13)
