The water filter should be changed every 6 months, when the filter indicator lights up, or when water output has visibly reduced. To replace it, pull the filter cover forward and down, then pull the water filter down to the left, turn it counterclockwise 90°, and remove it. Insert the new filter, turn it 90° clockwise, fold it up, and replace the cover. After installation, discard ice cubes produced in the first 24 hours and dispense water for 5 minutes and discard.
