How much detergent should I use in my Bosch dishwasher?

The amount of detergent depends on your water hardness and soil level — for example, 1 tablespoon (15ml) will clean most loads with soft water, while hard water with heavy soil may require up to 3 tablespoons (45ml). Never use more than 3 tablespoons (45ml) and do not overfill the detergent dispenser. If you are unsure of your water hardness, start with 15ml and increase as needed. (Page 10)
