What should I do before running the washer-dryer for the very first time?

Do not load any laundry for the first run, as the washer-dryer was tested at the factory and may have residual water in the drum. Add half a measuring cup of detergent to compartment II, turn the programme selector to a 60°C programme, and press the Start button. After the programme ends, open the door and leave it open to allow the inside to dry. (Page 7)
