The standard limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the Date of Installation, during which BSH will repair or replace the cooktop at no charge under normal use conditions. An extended limited warranty covers the electric heating elements, controls, and ceramic glass from month 12 through month 60 from the Date of Installation, with parts replacement at no charge but excluding labor, transportation, and shipping costs. The warranty applies only to the first using purchaser and is not transferable. (Pages 11, 13)
