What type of cookware works best on this cooktop?

Flat, medium-to-heavy-weight pans with smooth metal bottoms work best, as the pan base should rest evenly on the surface without wobbling when hot. The base of the pan should cover or match the diameter of the element being used, and may overhang the element area by up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) all around. Avoid pans with rounded, concave, convex, warped, or dented bottoms, and do not use glass pans as they may scratch the surface. (Pages 5–6)
