How do I manually ignite the burners during a power failure?

If a power failure occurs while using the cooktop, turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position. Then, hold a match at the burner ports and turn the control knob to the HI position. Wait until the flame is burning all the way around the burner before adjusting to the desired flame height. Note that the reignition feature will not work during a power failure. (Page 5)
