First ensure the detergent dispenser is dry and clear of residue, then actuate the locking bar to open it. Pour detergent into the dry dispenser only, without overfilling. When using detergent tabs, place them flat (not on their side) directly in the dispenser, then close the lid firmly until it clicks. The dispenser will open automatically at the ideal time during the cycle.
