How do I load knives and sharp utensils safely in the dishwasher?

Knives and other sharp utensils should be loaded with their edges or points facing down to reduce the risk of cut-type injuries. Do not allow children to handle or play near knives and sharp utensils in the dishwasher. (Page 20)
