How much detergent should I use for each wash cycle?

The amount of detergent depends on your water hardness and soil level. For soft water with little soil, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) is sufficient for most cycles, while hard water with heavy soil may require up to 3 tablespoons (45 ml) for Heavy and Auto cycles. If you do not know your water hardness, start with 15 ml and increase as needed. (Page 28)
