What is the emergency door lock release procedure?

Turn the washer off by rotating the cycle selector to the Off position and disconnect the power plug. Allow the water in the drum to cool off and come to a standstill, then perform the drain procedure by using the pull-out drain hose. Remove the protective foil, then pull the emergency release downwards with a tool to open the door. (Page 34)
