Yes, you must remove all four transport bolts before operating the washer. If the transport bolts are not removed, the washer will vibrate excessively and could cause damage, and it will be much noisier during spin cycles. Use a 13mm socket to loosen and remove all 4 transport bolts, then place the provided plastic covers over the bolt holes. (Page 14)
