What is the maximum load capacity for washing and drying?

The maximum load depends on the selected programme. For example, the Cottons programme has a maximum washing load of 8 kg but a maximum drying load of 5 kg. The maximum load for the drying phase is less than the maximum load for the wash cycle, so you may need to divide laundry into two drying cycles if you wash at maximum capacity. (Page 20-23)
