Why must the water tap remain open during the drying process?

Due to the use of water condensation technology for drying, the washer dryer needs a constant water supply throughout the drying phase to ensure proper drying performance. If the tap is closed during drying, the drying result will not be satisfactory. (Page 14 and Page 34)
