How do I safely handle toner that has spilled or adhered to skin or clothing?

Use dry tissue paper to wipe off toner adhered to skin or clothes, then wash with water. Never use warm water to clean up toner, as it will cause toner particles to gel and soak permanently into fibers. Additionally, toner particles are reactive with vinyl polymers, so contact with these materials should be avoided. (Page 3)
