What should I do if toner gets on my skin or clothes?
Use dry tissue paper to wipe off toner adhered to skin or clothes, then wash with water. Never use warm water for cleaning up toner, as this can cause toner particles to gel and soak permanently into fibers. Also avoid contact between toner and vinyl polymers. (Page 14)
What are the safety precautions when using an extension cord with the MF1538C?
As a general rule, extension cords should not be used with this machine. If an extension cord must be used, use one rated for the local voltage or higher, untie any cord binding, and insert the power plug completely to ensure a firm connection.
