What clearances are required around the refrigerator during installation?

For both 3 and 4 cubic foot models, allow at least 1/2 inch (13 mm) on the sides, 2 inches (51 mm) on top, and 2 inches (51 mm) at the back (measured from the rear cabinet surface to the wall). These clearances are necessary for ease of installation and proper air circulation. Insufficient clearance from the wall can also cause the motor to run for long periods.
