First, latch the door, then slowly turn the Cycle Indicator Dial to the ON position to start the cycle. You will hear the motor start, but there is a time delay between start-up and water fill, so you will not hear wash action right away. Make sure the Cycle Indicator Dial is at the OFF position before adding detergent so the cup closes and latches properly.
