How do I remove spots and film buildup from glasses and flatware?

Use Jet-Dry rinse agent to remove spots and prevent new film build-up on dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware, and plastic. For stubborn existing film, remove all metal utensils, run the longest cycle without detergent for 18–22 minutes until the main wash, then pour 2 cups of white vinegar into the bottom and allow the cycle to complete. If vinegar does not work, repeat the process using 1/4 cup of citric acid crystals instead. (Page 22)
