What temperature settings should I use when I first set up my refrigerator?

Initially set both the fresh food and freezer controls at 5. If you want colder or warmer temperatures, adjust the fresh food temperature first, and when satisfied with that setting, adjust the freezer temperature. After changing the controls, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach the temperature you have set. (Page 5)
