What is the warranty period for the Handicare 1100 stairlift?

The warranty is valid for a period of 24 months from the date that the product ships from the factory. The purchase price for the product must be paid in full in order for the manufacturer to release parts under this warranty. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, overloading, misuse, and replacement of batteries in the remote control is not covered by this guarantee. (Page 4)
